what is ptsd (post traumatic stress disorder)?

PTSD, or Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, is an anxiety disorder with symptoms like anxiety, anger, depression, irritability, sleep problems, and sadness. It occurs in people who have experienced or witnessed a traumatic event such as a natural disaster, a serious accident, a terrorist act, war, combat, rape or other violent personal assault. The long-term impact of childhood trauma is usually diagnosed as PTSD, though it is somewhat distinct.

*Current research does not guarantee that cannabinoids will cure any condition. However, a growing body of ongoing studies does suggest that these cannabinoids could offer treatment potential for a variety of physical and mental conditions.
